Ministry of Social Development
Fronde has held a Trusted Partner relationship with the Ministry of Social Development (MSD) for over 10 years. Notwithstanding changes in the political landscape and the needs of the organization, the Ministry has looked to Fronde to provide development, support and strategy for some of their flagship products such as the Student Allowances and Loans application.

This system is the largest non-bank lending system in the country and processes billions of dollars of allowance and loan payments annually to students. It integrates with a wide range of central government agencies including IRD, Customs, Education and more. To this day we continue to support, maintain and develop this application with a team of between 20 and 35 people working on the system at any given time.

Ministry of Education
Fronde has worked with the Ministry of Education since 2003. During this time we have been involved in over 15 different projects, influencing many areas within the Ministry and the wider education sector. Fronde has also been engaged to deliver many upgrades and extensions for each of those products. Of particular note is the ENROL application for which Fronde continues to develop and deliver ongoing releases. ENROL is a central system that integrates with multiple schools and government agencies to ensure that all New Zealand children are in continuous education.

Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry
Fronde has worked with the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry on a number of discrete projects since 2006. All of the projects required the development of innovative solutions to complex business problems. Most recently Fronde developed the Biosecurity Inbound Messaging system, the main requirements being compliance and cost reduction. Additional projects have included mobile workforce solutions for border control.
